Lothar Mentel
CEO & Chief Investment Officer
Lothar co-founded Tatton in 2012, and has overseen its growth to becoming a leading discretionary fund manager in the UK. His passion is to make the highest quality investment management available to most investors and is driven to ensure Tatton provides investors consistent repeatable investment performance coupled with the highest possible service standards.
In an investment management career spanning three decades, was previously Chief Investment Officer at Octopus Investments and designed and launched the Barclays Multi-Manager fund range He has also held senior roles at NM Rothschild, Threadneedle and Commerzbank Asset Management.
Justine Randall
Managing Director
With 25 years’ financial services experience, Justine is our Managing Director and leads our distribution, marketing and proposition teams. A part of the Tatton family for over 6 years, she is a regular industry speaker, raising awareness of MPS overall and championing our goal to bring down the cost of investing. Justine is a passionate leader and thrives working at the forefront of our distribution teams engaging with our strategic partners and IFA advocates.
Paul Edwards
Finance Director
Paul has previously been Group Finance Director of a number of quoted companies, most recently on the main board of Scapa Group plc. He has also held a number of other senior finance roles in a broad range of listed and private companies.
Rachel Thompson
Executive Assistant
Rachel is the Executive Assistant to the CEO and she has a wealth of experience across prestigious financial institutions. For 9 years, Rachel worked for the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) working closely with the Global Head of Treasury Services and his team. She has also worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and ABN AMRO.

David Parrott
Head of Telephone Account Management
David leads Tatton’s Account Management team within the Business Development Team, promoting Tatton’s proposition with our adviser firms throughout the UK. He holds the Diploma for financial advisers (DipFA) through the London Institute of banking and finance and is currently working towards the Investment Management Certificate through the CFA.
Johann Heyns
Chief Operating Officer
With nearly 15 years of Fund Management and Asset Servicing experience. Johann leads our middle office team, while also being responsible for project governance and key third party oversight. He joined from Sarasin & Partners LLP and has previously worked within operations & middle office, business planning across various Investment and Asset Servicing firms including State Street, Legal & General Investment Management and PSG Asset Management (South Africa).
Sam Holland
Head of Risk and Compliance
Sam joined the Tatton Compliance Team after three years as a Compliance Consultant at FM Consult. Prior to that, Sam worked in various Compliance roles at hedge funds and investment banks.
Sam holds a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Economics, Finance and Banking.
John Howard
Head of Marketing
John leads the marketing team at Tatton, having joined in July 2025. He is responsible for setting the marketing strategy and delighting IFAs with engaging materials and experiences to support their clients’ financial journeys.
Previously, he was Head of Marketing at Sanlam Investments, following his role as Head of Brand & Campaigns at Schroders Personal Wealth. Before that, John held various marketing roles at Schroders, focusing on intermediary audiences in both the UK and South Africa.
Olivia Geldenhuys
Head of Investment Specialists
Olivia heads up our Investment Specialist team providing key information on Tatton’s products and market views to the sales team and clients. She joined Tatton from Schroders Investment Solutions where she was an Investment Director. Originally from South Africa she relocated to the UK to facilitate an expansion of PortfolioMetrix into Europe and coordinate global projects.
Olivia holds a BCom in Investment Management at the University of Pretoria in South Africa with an Honours in Financial Management. She also holds a post-graduate diploma in Financial Planning.
Claire Bennison
Director of Investment Solutions
Claire created and directs our Bespoke Portfolio Service. Drawing on 30 years of financial services experience, Claire’s role is to extend our managed portfolio service to find the right solutions for more complex and high net worth clients.
Claire joined us from Brooks Macdonald, where she was Director of Services and Products, having previously been Head of Currencies and Technical Analysis at Barclays.
James Saunders, CFA
Head of Portfolio Management
James leads the portfolio management team at Tatton, maintaining and developing our asset allocation. He and his team focus their analysis on fund selection, performance attribution processes.
James previously acted as Portfolio Manager at Sandaire, Investment Analyst at Lord North Street Limited and Trader at Tibra Capital. A CFA charter holder, James holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Quantitative Finance & Risk Management from Newcastle University.
Astrid Schilo
Chief Investment Strategist
Astrid runs Tatton’s tactical multi-asset allocation and has well over 20 years of financial market experience. She has a long pedigree in identifying investment themes, dissecting cyclical and structural drivers, encompassing regional and global trends. Throughout her career, she has covered major asset classes – foreign exchange, fixed income and equities and served, among other roles, as Exane BNPParibas Chief European Economist.
Astrid is also tri-lingual in English, German and French and holds an MSc in Economics / Public Financial Policy from the London School of Economics.
Roddi Vaughan-Thomas
Head of PR and Communications
Roddi directs and manages the PR and communications for Tatton, ensuring the provision of clear accessible communications and content for IFAs, their clients the media and the industry. Roddi has over 25 years’ experience directing and managing communications for financial services firms. With extensive agency experience, Roddi has helped develop numerous market-leading investment and wealth management brands and products to the IFA sector.

Oliver Amps
Investment Associate
Oli works as a Investment Associate at Tatton on the Portfolio Management team. He has over 8 years of experience in the investment management industry, having previously worked for Mattioli Woods. Oli specialises in fund research and manager selection whilst also holding portfolio management responsibilities. He also has the CISI Investment Advice Diploma (IAD).
Anthony Graham, CFA
Head of Fund Management
Anthony is an Head of Fund Management at Tatton. With 11 years of experience in the investment industry, Anthony has honed his expertise across various asset classes, including multi-asset portfolios and UK small-cap equities.
At Tatton, he focuses on portfolio management and fund research, leveraging his deep understanding of financial markets to optimise investment strategies. Anthony is a valued member of both the Tatton Investment Committee and Ethical Investment Committee, where he contributes to the firm’s investment philosophy and positioning.
Anthony holds an MSc in Strategic Planning & Investments and a BA (Hons) in Financial & Business Economics. He has also earned the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and demonstrated his commitment to responsible investing by obtaining the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and the CFA Certificate in Climate & Investing.
Dane Harrison
Investment Associate
Dane works as a Investment Associate at Tatton. He has over 9 years of experience in the investment management industry, having previously worked for Nationwide Building Society and Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton and he has the CFA Certificate in Investment Management and CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
Jim Kean
Chief Economist
Jim brings more than 30 years’ investment experience to Tatton, directing our strategic and global market research. He is responsible for the macro allocation and heads the investment analyst function.
Dimitra Liga
Investment Analyst
Dimitra works as an investment analyst at Tatton, supporting the investment team with fund research, performance analysis and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Dimitra has a MSc in Finance and Investment from University of Nottingham and a BSc in Finance and Accounting from University of Macedonia, Greece. She also holds the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate (IMC), has passed Level I and II of the CFA Program and is now a Level III candidate.
John Messer, Chartered FCSI
Investment Manager
John is responsible for developing and managing our bespoke investment portfolios. John previously worked as an Investment Manager at Brooks Macdonald. John holds the CISI Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD), as well as a BSc in Medical Microbiology and Virology from Warwick University.
Adam Rawling, CFA
Multi-Asset Strategist
Adam works in the Strategy Team looking at asset allocation positioning as well as specific fixed income allocations. He joined us 5 years ago and worked within our Portfolio Construction and Fund Research Team. He holds an MSc in Investment Management from the University of Surrey.
Max Rosser
Trainee Investment Manager
Max works as Trainee Investment Manager at Tatton Investment Management. His Tatton career began back in July 2024 where he joined as an intern for four months. After gaining further experience in the industry, he re-joined in September 2025 into a permanent role.
He holds a First-Class BA (Hons) (Double Degree) in International Business with French from both Kedge Business School Marseille and Nottingham Trent University. Furthermore, he is currently working towards completing the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) Qualification after passing the first of the two exams needed.
Eli Stubley
Equity Strategist
Eli serves as an Equity Strategist at Tatton Investment Management, having joined the team in October 2021. In this role, Eli is instrumental in shaping the asset allocation framework that underpins Tatton’s portfolios.
Prior to joining Tatton, Eli pursued an academic path that laid a strong foundation for the current role, completing a BSc in Economics, Accounting, and Finance at Royal Holloway University. Subsequently, Eli earned an MSc in Finance (Asset Pricing) from King’s College London, graduating with First-Class Honours and Distinction, respectively.

Perry Beard
Investment Specialist
Based in London, Perry is part of Tatton’s Investment Specialist team, supporting the delivery of investment insights and product information to clients and advisers. She holds a First-Class degree in History from the University of Warwick, the Investment Management Certificate, and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing. She has also passed Level I of the CFA Program.
Jacob Cullen
Investment Specialist
Jacob joined Tatton in May 2023 and is now part of the Investment Specialist team. A Loughborough University graduate with a BSc in Banking, Finance and Management, Jacob also completed a one-year placement as a Credit Management Analyst at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). He has passed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and CFA Level I, and is currently studying for CFA Level II.
Sam Leary
Senior Investment Specialist
Sam is the interface between the investment team and the IFAs we work with, providing in-depth analysis of our investment strategy and performance. He provides quantitative and technical analysis for the investment team and contributes to the Tatton Weekly and the investment committee. Sam holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), a degree in Engineering, a HND in Accounting and has over 10 years of investment experience.
Chris Oufi
Investment Specialist
Chris works as an Investment Specialist at Tatton. Chris has a background in investment and quantitative research, having spent 3 years at Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research, covering fixed income (incl. sustainable & impact) & multi-asset strategies. He holds a BSc in Finance from Durham University and a MSc in Economics & Strategy for Business from Imperial College London. Chris also holds the CFA Investment Management Certificate (IMC).

Jack Bennett
Business Development Director
Jack is a key member of distributing Tatton’s services to the Financial Adviser community joining us in 2013. Prior to Tatton he worked in the expat market for a leading Financial Adviser based in Dubai, Jack subsequently worked on GFI’s South East Asia FX Options Desk based in Singapore. He currently holds a Diploma for Financial Advisers awarded by The London Institute of Banking and Finance alongside the CISI Introduction to Investments & Securities Award. He is currently studying towards the Investment Management Certificate and Level 6.
Craig Coates
Business Development Director
Craig manages Tatton’s relationships with Advisory firms in Central London, Essex & Kent. Previously at Morningstar Investment Management, M&G Investments and JP Morgan Asset Management, Craig brings over 17 years of market experience to the team. Craig is a holder of the CFA Investment Management Certificate.
Kathy Lategan
Business Development Director
Kathy creates and manages Tatton’s adviser relationships in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the North East of England. Based in Scotland Kathy has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry beginning her financial services career with Commercial Union, before joining the Liberty Group and Old Mutual South Africa with her focus on Employee Benefits, Pensions and Corporate Risk. On relocating to the UK, she worked for Royal London in Edinburgh, before joining Tatton and leading the Account Management Team. Kathy is DipFA qualified and is currently studying to complete her IMC qualification.
Ross Mackinnon
Strategic Accounts Director
Ross is the Director of Strategic Accounts at Tatton co-ordinating the business development team within our Strategic Distribution Partners. As an Intermediary Sales Professional, he specialises in developing Strategic Business relationships with the Intermediary and Advisory Sales sectors. With a track record of presenting impactful solutions and insights, Ross provide senior support to intermediaries in growing and enhancing their business with the end consumer, combining deep industry knowledge with a commitment to assist their clients achieve their goals.
Steve Martell
Business Development Director
Steve is responsible for creating and managing Tatton’s relationships with Financial Advisers in the Midlands and Wales. Steve brings more than three decades of investment market experience to the team. A former broker consultant, Steve also spent 16 years in senior management positions for leading investment product providers and as a Financial Adviser to the retirement market.
John Ryan
Business Development Director
John creates and manages Tatton’s relationships with Advisory firms in London and the South East. Previously at Santander Asset Management, Marlborough Fund Managers and AIG , John brings over 30 years of market experience to the team.
Ryan Seaton
Business Development Director
Ryan is responsible for creating and managing Tatton’s relationships with Financial Advisers in the North of England. Formerly Investment Development Consultant at Paradigm Partners – where he advised and supported IFAs on a daily basis – Ryan joined the financial services industry in 2012 as a graduate at WRAP platform Amber Financial. Ryan holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Nottingham University.
Scott White
Business Development Director
Scott has been working with advisers for over 20 years, with several life offices and DFM’s. Scott is a Chartered Financial Planner and a Fellow of the PFS and has a wealth of experience across financial products and services, including Pensions, IHT planning, Offshore Bonds and Platforms. Scott is based in Bristol, and promotes the Tatton proposition to advisers in the South West and helps advisers enhance or develop a robust and future proof investment proposition for their clients.

Jordan Baker
Account Manager
Jordan is an Account Manager within the Business Development Team, providing day to day support and promoting Tatton’s proposition with our adviser firms throughout the UK. She has 16 years’ experience in financial services working within IFA firms, predominantly across administration, compliance and practice management. Jordan is currently working towards becoming DipFA level 4 qualified.
Sam Hill
Account Manager
Sam works as Account Manager at Tatton. He used to work for AJ Bell as part of their Business Development team. He is currently looking to further his education and become DipFA level 4 qualified. He holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Football Business and Finance.
Tom Howarth
Junior Account Manager
Tom is an account manager at Tatton, with a background in pensions at Royal London. He has a BSc (Hons) degree in sports & exercise science, a level 4 apprenticeship in data analysis, and want’s to further his education with a DipFA level 4 qualification. Tom assists the business development directors by providing support to our adviser firms and resolving queries.
Amaya Kamali
Junior Account Manager
Amaya works on the Telephone Account Management team assisting with queries from advisor firms and providing support to the sales team. She joined Tatton after two years working at Paradigm. Amaya holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Emma Harrison
Senior Portfolio and Fund Implementation Manager
With over 20 years’ experience in investment administration and private client portfolio management, Emma brings a wealth of trade execution experience to the team.
Her career took her from Hambros Bank in the early 90’s, to Datastream, CCLA and Henderson Investors, before she became a portfolio manager after joining Barclays Private Bank in 1998.
Joe Kennedy
Operations Manager
Joe is primarily responsible for the Platforms and Platform Relationships. He has nearly 30 years of experience in Financial Services with the last 20 being platform based. He previously worked for Transact and Cofunds.
Will Shrubb
Junior Operations Analyst
Will works in the Operations team handling investment model implementation and fund settlement and reconciliation, as well as managing platform data and assisting with internal tool development. He joined Tatton in 2024 and holds a BEng in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Bath.
Max Tewiah
Junior Operations Analyst
Max joined Tatton in August 2024 having completed a three-month internship in Summer 2023. He currently supports Tatton’s Operational functions through platform management and fund reconciliation.
Max holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in International Business from Loughborough University. He has passed the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) Unit One qualification and is currently studying for Unit Two.
Zoe Wilson
Funds Settlements & Reconciliation Manager
Zoe is the Settlements and Reconciliation Manager for Tatton Investment Management and is responsible for the fund monitoring and operational management of Tatton’s full fund range. She previously worked at IFDS and Ingenious and has 6 years of investment experience. Zoe is currently studying to gain her IOC qualifications.

Louis Hogarth
Marketing Executive
Louis began his journey at Tatton as an intern in October 2024, before moving into a permanent role in February 2025. He now supports the firm’s marketing efforts, with a focus on communications and brand development.
He holds a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Marketing from Oxford Brookes University and has completed a professional qualification at Quest Professional business school in London.
Compliance & Risk
Christopher Boyle
Compliance Analyst
Christopher joined Tatton’s Compliance Team after nearly four and half years as an Assistant Compliance Officer at LGT Wealth Management. Prior to that, Christopher worked in various roles within the wealth management sector.
Christopher holds a BSc in Business Management with Marketing from the University of Leeds and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law.
Karnvir Cheema
Compliance & Risk Manager
Karnvir joined Tatton as a Compliance & Risk Manager and is responsible for ensuring the business complies within the regulatory requirements and policies. With the addition of having Risk Management oversight in Tatton and being a member in the Risk & Compliance Committee.
She previously worked as a Compliance Officer at Vitality.
Karnvir holds a Law LLB and MA in International Relations from the University of Westminster.
